Bilateral eye movement technique used in EMDR therapy to support emotional stabilization a

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy

I integrate EMDR within a broader, insight-oriented and relational approach to therapy. This means we don’t just focus on symptom relief, but also on understanding how past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns are connected.

We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. EMDR is always part of a collaborative process — we work together to identify what feels most important to address, and how to approach it in a way that supports both insight and lasting change.

EMDR can be helpful for a range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Depression

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Relationship patterns that feel difficult to change

  • Strong emotional reactions that seem disproportionate or confusing

Often, these challenges are connected to earlier experiences that continue to shape how you respond today.

EMDR can be a powerful approach if you feel that past experiences are continuing to affect your present, even if you don’t always understand how or why.

If you’re curious about whether EMDR might be helpful, we can talk more during a consultation and decide together if it’s a good fit for your needs and goals.  See my contact page for further information.
